ANOTHER STATE-SANCTIONED MURDER: Cops clear officer who beat Jan. 6 protester with stick, baton as she died

Violence determined to be 'objectively reasonable'

Police in Washington, D.C., have investigated the apparently violent beating of a Jan. 6 protester who already was on the ground by an officer with a stick and a baton, and have reported that violence was "objectively reasonable," according to a report by Just the News. The investigation conclusion comes from the city's Metropolitan Police Department's Bureau of Internal Affairs.

The review revealed D.C. Officer Lila Morris beat Rosanne Boyland with a steel baton and "what appeared to be a wooden walking stick."

This was after the victim, of Kennesaw, Georgia, already was unconscious and on the ground on the day rioting erupted at the U.S. Capitol. [ READ MORE ]




The Shooting Murder of Ashli Babbitt
on January 6, 2021, by a U.S. Capitol Police Lieutenant
was an unjustified use of deadly force which violated
her life and her constitutional rights.

Video footage shows that Ashli was not an immediate threat
to the officer or anyone else as she stepped into a window
leading to the Speaker’s Lobby and was shot and killed.

Donations made to the GiveSendGo “Justice For Ashli Babbitt Legal Fund” will be used to offset fees to consultants with experts in use of force, police procedure, security and computer forensic analysis, medical professionals, and other forensic and technological specialties. The Babbit family attorney, Terrel Roberts, anticipates the expenses will amount to $500,000 to $700,000.

Ashli Babbitt coverup sparks federal action

The Department of Justice has been hit with a lawsuit for failing to provide public access to its records about the "killing" of Ashli Babbitt.

U.S. Capitol Police Internal Investigation Clears Officer Who Killed Ashli Babbitt

An internal investigation conducted by the Capitol Police has cleared the unnamed officer who shot Ashli Babbitt during the Capitol Hill riot on January 6.

In a press release on Monday, the USCP said that the unnamed officer acted lawfully and according to their training when he shot and killed the unarmed Babbitt on January 6:

USCP’s Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) determined the officer’s conduct was lawful and within Department policy, which says an officer may use deadly force only when the officer reasonably believes that action is in the defense of human life, including the officer’s own life, or in the defense of any person in immediate danger of serious physical injury. The acting sergeant at arms of the House of Representatives inadvertently confirmed the closely guarded identity of the Capitol police officer who shot and killed Ashli Babbitt during the Jan. 6 riot.

Federal officials in Washington already have confirmed that a police officer at the U.S. Capitol – whose name still is being withheld – will not face any criminal charges for shooting and killing unarmed veteran Ashli Babbitt at the Jan. 6 riot.

But that person may be facing civil counts, according to a report in BizPacReview.
